THE GLOBAL CONNECTION
A UNIQUE, MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCE IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH ARTISTS
Saturday, 28 June – 6:00 PM
Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, Minervino Murge
Live stream on Viewcy World Music Platform
This is not just a concert. It is an immersive experience and a global encounter.
101 Flames of Inspiration was born as a global long-distance collaboration – a virtual village that, through time, patience, and passion, has created 90 minutes of truly unique world fusion music.
On this day, 70 members of this global village will gather at Tenuta Bocca di Lupo – a place of rare beauty, the perfect setting for the meeting of these artists. Musicians who cannot attend in person will still be present through the world premiere of an immersive film and sound experience.
18:00 • One Planet • Three Stages
With a glass of local wine in hand, guests are invited to explore three musical stages, each offering different expressions of music’s power:
-
The outdoor stage features vibrant performances by Aaron English (USA), Taras Kuznetsov & Ana Pshokina (Ukraine), Sandra Akiiki Bakabamba (Uganda), Johannes Kuchta (Germany), Sasha Livshitz (Russia).
-
The indoor stage presents acoustic world music by masters such as Charu Hariharan (India), Jali Babou Saho (Gambia), Mirla Riomar (Brazil), Marcel Vallès (Spain), Giovannangelo de Gennaro (Puglia).
-
In the atmospheric wine cellar, the Vocal Art Ensemble of Sweden – 35 voices strong – joins in harmony with sounds recorded deep inside a glacier near the North Pole.
20:45 • The Calling
Just after sunset, Tibetan horns echo across the open fields – a sign that something powerful is about to begin. The audience is invited to gather in the courtyard.
21:00 • The 101 Full Immersion Experience
World Premiere: 101 Flames of Inspiration
An open-air cinematic and musical experience, right in the heart of Tenuta Bocca di Lupo. The film will be projected on a 12-meter-wide screen, with 19-channel Dolby Atmos sound that completely surrounds and immerses the audience.
Some of the brightest artists of the project will be there live, taking turns singing or playing in dialogue with their colleagues on screen – across borders, time, and space.
22:30 • Hold the Fire
The festival’s core ensemble will close the film premiere with a piece collectively created during the four days spent together. A living example of what a global village can accomplish by staying true to its shared motto: “Connect – Listen – Create.”
22:45 • Closing Ceremony
The evening concludes with a symbolic and powerful ceremony. As the audience exits the courtyard, they are greeted by a musical salute by 20 Taiko drummers, accompanied by an explosive action painting performance by Giuliano Di Cesare.
The evening will also be graced with wine, focaccia and appetizers, offered to participants by Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, with special attention to the selection of wines matched to the musical style of the area in which one will be.
Tenuta Bocca di Lupo's wines are produced in total harmony with the land and with sustainable processes.
What are you waiting for?
